Welcome to Kenwood

The town of Kenwood is located at the Northern end of the Sonoma Valley. This is a particularly picturesque part of the valley, replete with vineyards, foothills and high peaks. 

The town of Kenwood itself sits astride Highway 12, and offers visitors access to the area's wineries and tasting rooms, interesting shops and excellent restaurants. The entry to Sugarloaf state park, which offers hiking, biking and horseback riding is located just a short distance north of town.

The Kenwood area is very rural in character, and makes for fine evening walks to enjoy the clean country air and beautiful sunsets. Though thoroughly bucolic, Kenwood is only 20 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa and its movie theatres, fine dining, major retailers and shopping venues and varied cultural entertainments.
